Within my storify assignment I decided to choose the topic of drunk driving due to the holiday that is taking place on this fine Monday. Everyone is in the drinking mood to celebrate this Irish holiday so the implications of drunk driving are strongly inevitable. The police are out trying to flag down those who are partaking in this dangerous act and my story is used to illustrate the dangers that come with stepping inside that car after a few too many drinks. The main focus of the story is a girl who happens to get injured due to the fact of some irresponsible drivers. Not only are you putting yourself at risk you are putting the people around you at risk by stepping into that car. In today’s culture there are many active people trying to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving such as organizations like M.A.D.D. SO take the pledge this St. Patrick’s Day and standup against drunk driving.
